During 17 years (1979-1996) working on state-of-the-art microelectronics I helped develop quality procedures, reliability understanding and total quality management (TQM) systems to embrace the rapidly changing technology and human factors. I then chose a career change into holistic health, spiritual growth and personal self-development. eventually running retreats in Portugal. Back in the UK (Bangor, Wales) I completed my PhD (2013) on 'Transcending Thought': higher level of consciousness and those who obtain them, and use them in their daily lives. My work now focusses on bringing all of these ideas and experiences together: Working with Wisdom, how ancient wisdom, latest thinking on consciousness and commitment to personal growth can not only improve our health and well-being but also underlie efficient and effective organisational management. At the University of Bristol I am a Mental Health Champion and exploring the common underlying factors between Mental Health, the Climate Emeregncy and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; i.e. a growing awaress of a deeper aspect of 'what it means to be human'.
