Marye O'Reilly-Knapp

Marye O’Reilly-Knapp, PhD, RN , is a psychotherapist with a private practice in New Jersey. Recently retired from Widener University, she was awarded Associate Professor Emerita in the School of Nursing. She is a board certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in psychiatric and mental health nursing, certified Clinical Transactional Analyst, and certified Group Psychotherapist. She has published articles in professional journals on social support, trauma, dissociation, the schizoid process, and Integrative Psychotherapy. She has taught throughout the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe. She is currently training psychotherapists in Moscow and Ryazan, Russia.

In 1981 Marye joined the Integrative Psychotherapy seminar and for the last twenty-four years was a member of the Professional Development Seminar. She is a Founding Member, and a Teaching and Supervisory faculty member of the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association. She is presently serving on the Board and is assistant editor of the IP Journal.
