With Reflection

These last few weeks have been full with activities and have incluned times of reflection in which various poetic thoughts have structured themselves into my mind

To Meet Again

Another year has gone by

The trees continue patiently

Enveloping the hills and valleys

In a myriad of autumn colours

With fresh fragrances in air

There lies an atmosphere of calm

In which meeting once more

Brings contentment and joy

Flowers for mum

Softly , wake

When you wake

A new day comes into existence

All you have known is memory

All you have done brings you

Into this moment of beginning

When you wake

All you know has passed and

All You have is an empty future

All you have done brings you

Into this now empty beginning

When you wake

Before memory starts to flow

Before time starts to unfold

Breathe into the empty now

When you wake

This is all you need first, to breathe

This is all of you, breathing, waking

This is now, and time, to wake up!
